MISSOULA, Mont. — Students can now win a scholarship by using their creativity.
Nine students from across Montana will win money for higher education through Reach Higher Montana’s sticker contest.
This contest will award two $1,500 scholarships, two $1,000 scholarships, and two $500 scholarships.
Additionally, scholarship winners can choose a department or teacher to win $250 for classroom supplies.
“We noticed that there were a lot of traditional type scholarships where you would send in an essay or y’know maybe even just random drawing type stuff,” said Cullen Gilbreath, the digital marketing and communications manager for Reach Higher Montana, ”There's not a ton of opportunities for students to use their creativity and their talents to get a scholarship, and so we decided to create a scholarship.”
Winning stickers are decided by popular vote, but judges also select three of their favorites not voted as winners to win $500 scholarships.
The deadline to enter is March 31.
You can enter on Reach Higher Montana’s website.
