The WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program. This long-standing scholarship, created to support students in our community pursuing healthcare careers, has been providing financial assistance to deserving students since 1990.
Starting with just one $500 scholarship, the Auxiliary now awards two $1,000 scholarships each year to high school graduates or students with an alternative education certificate who meet the application criteria. The funds for these scholarships are raised by the Auxiliary’s popular bake sales and donations from generous community members.
Applications are now available for the fall academic year and can be picked up at the Buckhannon Upshur High School counselors’ office or at the Information Desk at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Completed applications must be submitted by May 1 to be considered.
